NEWS of the BOYS in the Service

Alva E. Rozell, T4, of the U.S. Infantry, arrived Sunday from Camp Swift, Texas, to spend a furlough with his wife and parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Rozell Sr., in Akron.  Mrs. Alva Rozell went to Omaha, Neb., Saturday to meet her husband.  This is Alva Rozell’s first furlough in over three years in the service.  Eighteen months of that time was spent overseas in the Asiatic and Pacific area.

Alva Eli Rozell as born July 30, 1916 to Arthur Leander and Mamie Ellen Tucker Rozell. He died July 7, 2003 and is buried in Pleasant Valley Cemetery, LeMars, IA.
