Letts—The two sons of Mr. and Mrs. Ollie Rieke of Letts are serving with the U. S. armed forces.
Pfc. James O. Rieke has been serving for nearly a year in the New Hebrides islands in the southwest Pacific. He was inducted on Oct. 20, 1943, and went overseas with an infantry unit in April, 1944.
Pvt. Gerald Rieke, Co. A, 521st Bn, 1st Platoon, Camp Wolters, Tex., was inducted into the service on Nov. 30, 1944. His wife, Mrs. Evelyn Rieke, is residing with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. T. Harkey, in Muscatine.
