IN UNIFORM
Pvt. Donald Rehms, whose wife lives in Sioux City, has been awarded the purple heart for wounds received on the island of Leyte. He is in the First cavalry division and has been overseas since May 10, 1944. He has been stationed in New Guinea, the Admiralty islands and the Philippines. He now is working in New Guinea as a clerk.
