Pfc. Harold Prottsman was visited at the Mayo hospital at Galesburg, Ill, Sunday, April 1, by Mr. and Mrs. Jack Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Weller and Jimmy, and James Weller. Pfc. Prottsman was wounded in Europe recently and was flow back to the United States and is convalescing at the army hospital in Galesburg.

Harold Edward Prottsman was born June 20, 1923 to Vern and Florence Canby Prottsman. He died Apr. 6, 1988 and is buried in Burge Cemetery, New London, IA.
