Lt. Herbert Olson Prisoner of War
Winfield—Mr. and Mrs. Harry Olson received a telephone call from their daughter-in-law, Mrs. Dixie Olson of Kansas City, Mo., Sunday that she had received a telegram from the War Department through the International Red Cross, that her husband, 2nd Lt. Herbert D. Olson, who was reported missing in action over Germany since November 30, 1944, is a prisoner of the German government. It stated a letter would follow from the provost general. Mrs. Olson returned to Kansas City last Wednesday after visiting several days at the Harry Olson home here.

PRISONERS OF WAR FROM HENRY COUNTY ARE LISTED
Henry county relatives of men who were prisoners of war in Germany anxiously await word from them. All likely have been freed, information from Germany indicates, but the mail facilities out of the country have broken down temporarily. A list of the prisoners from the county has been compiled by the News. It may not include all. Corrections and additions should be mailed or telephoned to the News office.

WINFIELD
Winfield—Mr. and Mrs. Harry Olson received a telephone call Sunday from their son, Second Lieutenant Herbert D. Olson, now at Camp Patrick Henry, Virginia. He expects to be home in a week or ten days.

Second Lt. Herbert D. Olson and Mrs. Olson will arrive Tuesday evening from Kansas City to visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Olson of Winfield. Lt. Olson, who was liberated May 13 from a German prison camp has a 90-day furlough.

Herbert Dale Olson was born Oct 16, 1921 to Harry and Miriam Upton Olson. He died Sept. 18, 1971 and is buried in Swedesburg Cemetery, Swedesburg, IA.
