Harold R. Olson, technician fourth grade, whose wife resides at 1001 27th street, is serving with the headquarters and service company from allied force headquarters in Italy. This company services all American troops in the Mediterranean theater of operations and 40 per cent of the men in the company have served in combat.

Harold Raymond Olson was born Jan. 19, 1915 to Peter O. and Bergine Marie Olson Olson. He died Sept. 30, 2001.
Sgt. Olson served in World War II with the U.S. Army Finance Dept., Headquarters Service Company in the Mediterranean Theater in Caserta, Italy.
