SAFE ARRIVAL
Arcadia (THNS)—Sgt. Norbert Ocken has sent word to his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ocken, of his safe arrival somewhere overseas. The message arrived Tuesday morning.

Norbert Henry Ocken was born Oct. 26, 1919 to Frank C. and Catherine Anstoeter Ocken. He died Apr. 8, 2007 and is buried in Saint Johns Catholic Cemetery, Arcadia, IA.
Sgt. Ocken served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps in the South Pacific. He was awarded the Bronze Star.
