RADIO GUNNER IN ITALY—
Carl Nettifee, son of Mrs. George Nettifee, 2116 Massachusetts S.E., is a radio gunner with the 15th AAF. At present he holds the rank of staff sergeant. He took part in the invasion of southern France and was presented with the air medal after participating in 20 missions. He had been overseas since July. A brother, Pfc. Wilbert, is with the engineers in New Guinea.
