Eugene Mullen has been promoted from staff sergeant to technical sergeant according to word received by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Mullen, 1135 West Eighth street. Sergeant Mullen has been a patient in the hospital at Ft. Logan, Colo., for the past three weeks suffering from pneumonia. His wife and son, Michael, reside at Ft. Logan.
