Pfc. Donald K. Moore, whose wife lives at 921 Plymouth Street, has been awarded the combat infantryman badge for exemplary conduct in action against the Japanese. He has been overseas for eight months, serving in New Caledonia and Bougainville.

Sons-in-Law of Sioux City Couple Injured in Action
Pfc. Roy Lambert, whose wife and children, William, Roy, and Connie, live at 717 Plymouth street, was wounded in action March 19 in Germany. He suffered a back injury. He had been awarded the Purple Heart.
Pfc. Donald Kenneth Moore was wounded in action in the Pacific, his wife and son, Donald, 1207 ½ W. Third street, have received word. Both are sons-in-law of Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Aspleaf, 1207 W. Third street.
