Sgt. Rayfield Meyer Wounded in Belgium
S. Sgt. Rayfield Meyer, serving with an armored infantry regiment in Belgium, was wounded slightly in action January 3. His mother, Mrs. Anna Nielsen, 1700 W. 28th street, received the notification from the War Department.
Sgt. Meyer was attending Central high school when he was inducted two years ago. He has been overseas since last May.
