IN UNIFORM
Cpl. Burdette A. McNaughton, whose wife lives at 2110 Ross street, has been awarded the bronze star medal for distinguishing himself by crawling forward under heavy enemy rifle fire to rescue and treat two fallen comrades. He is stationed with the Dixie division on Morotai.
