RECEIVES DISCHARGE
Sgt. Johnny McLaughlin, overseas 28 months, who was wounded in the leg and back by shrapnel, has been given his discharge at Fort Meade, Md., and will arrive home on Sept. 15, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. E. McLaughlin, 2741 Avenue I, have been informed. He will be accompanied by his wife. Sgt. McLaughlin was wounded in the battle of north Africa. His father is superintendent of the city sewer department.
