Keith W. McKillip, son of Mr. and Mrs. George W. McKillip, 1224 25th Street, has been graduated from Midland army airfield in the west Texas bombardier triangle.

Lieut. Keith McKillip, son of Mr. and Mrs. George W. McKillip, 1224 35th street, received his silver wings on graduation from Hondo, Tex., army field. He received his commission prior to entering navigation training.

Lt. Keith W. McKillip, navigator-bombardier, has been awarded a bronze oak leaf cluster to the air medal for meritorious service while participating in combat missions against Japan and Japanese held Asia as a member of a Superfortress bomber crew. Lt. McKillip is a son of Mr. and Mrs. George W. McKillip, 1224 25th street. He received his commission in 1943.

First Lt. Keith W. McKillip is spending a 21-day leave with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. G.W. McKillip, 1224 Street, after a year’s service overseas as a B-29 navigator. Lt. McKillip has been awarded the distinguished flying cross, the air medal with an oak leaf cluster and wears the Asiatic-Pacific ribbon with battle stars for bombing Japan, Manchuria, Formosa and other enemy strongholds.
