GIVEN BARS
Word has been received here of the graduation of Clinton J. Mayer, former secretary of the Chamber of Commerce, from infantry school at Fort Benning, Ga. He was commissioned a second lieutenant. He is a graduate of Thomas Jefferson high school. He formerly served with the 16th armored division and was a sergeant when he entered officers candidate school.
