OVERSEAS ONE MONTH; KILLED
Pvt. Albert Marshall Was in Action on Luzon
Pvt. Albert Marshall, son of Mrs. Aurelia Clancy, 2442 Seventh street, was killed in action while serving with the infantry on Luzon February 20. The official notice from the War Department was received by his wife, who with daughter Patricia Ann, 8, resides at 3507 Fifth avenue.
Pvt. Marshall enlisted June 28, 1944, and received his training at Camp J. T. Robinson, Ark. He embarked for overseas one month ago from Fort Ord, Cal. Prior to entering the service, he was employed at Swift & Co. Two sisters, Mrs. Charles Williams and Mrs. William Schwartz, live in Sioux Falls.

Albert R. Marshall was born Apr. 20, 1910. He died Feb. 20, 1945 and is buried in the Calvary Cemetery, Sioux City, IA.
He was serving with the 127th Infantry when he was killed in action.
He and his wife, the former Lucille Logan, lived in Williams, IA, for several years.
