Home from England.
RIVERTON—T. Sgt. Duane Manrose has returned home from England after completing 250 combat hours over enemy territory. He has been awarded the air medal with three oak leaf clusters and the distinguished flying cross. Rev. Manrose, seaman 1/c, who has just been graduated from the signal and armed guard school at the Great Lakes Naval Station, also has been home, both guests of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Manrose, south of Riverton.

Gordon Duane “Duane" Manrose was born Dec. 25, 1919 to Chester and Marie L. Watts Manrose. He died Oct. 24, 1985.
Sgt. Manrose served in World War II with the U.S. Army Air Corps 446th Bomb Group.
