Pvt. First Class Harold Manley and his brother, Pvt. Virgil Manley are shown here. Harold is stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., where he is attached to the field artillery. Virgil is located at Camp Crowder, Mo., and is with the signal corps. They were here on a furlough to attend the funeral of their father, O. C. Manley.

Virgil Nathan Manley was born Nov. 6, 1918 to Oliver C. and Sylvia Bliven Manley. He died Apr. 16, 1988 and is buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Muscatine, IA.
