IN UNIFORM

Frank R. Lascala, seaman first class, who returned to the States after nine months in the southwest Pacific, is spending a 21-day leave with his wife and parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jan Lascala, 1708 Eighth Street. Seaman Lascala, who took part in seven major battles, will report to the west coast on completion of his leave.

Frank R. Lascala, seaman first class, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Jan Lascala, 1619 Eighth street, and Marvin Goetch, aviation ordnanceman second class, are serving on the U. S. S. Wasp off Tokyo. The latter's wife, Blanche, resides at 1617 Silver street.

Frank Robert LaScala  was born Apr. 6, 1926 to Jan and Florence Magnuson LaScala. He died Mar. 13, 1994.

Frank served with the U.S. Navy in World War II.
