SAILOR ON LEAVE
Hutchins—Leo A. Larson, E. M. 3/c, is spending a 17-day leave with his mother, Mrs. Helen Larson, and other relatives. He came from Memphis, Tenn., where he had been hospitalized for an arm injury received while on duty in California and will report at the expiration of his leave at Chicago.

Leo Albert Larson was born Nov. 27, 1918 to Chris and Helen Vorland Larson. He died Dec. 31, 2000 and is buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Britt, IA.
Leo served in World War II with the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy.
