Sioux Rapids, Ia.—Robert Lewis Krile, son of Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Krile, has begun his recruit training at the Farragut, Idaho, naval training station.

Robert Lewis “Bob” Krile was born Sept. 18, 1924 to Walter William and Thelma Evelyn Slay Krile. He died Mar. 6, 2021 and is buried in Riverside Cemetery, Spencer, IA.
Bob served in World War II with the U.S. Navy on a Destroyer Escort in the South Pacific.
