Sgt. Robert H. Kokenge, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Kokenge, 2423 W. Fourth street, has been assigned to the army air forces training command radio school at the Sioux Falls, S.D., army air field, for training as a radio operator-mechanic. Prior to entering service, he was a salesman for the New York Life Insurance company. He graduated from Alton high school’ in 1939, and attended National Business Training school in Sioux City. He enlisted in the Army April 12, 1942, at Omaha, Neb.
