Lieut. Robert Vernon (Bob) King is spending a 10 day leave with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. M. F. Brodie. Bob is in the naval air corps and is stationed at Corpus Christi, Texas. Pvt. Ross King, a brother of Bob, is also spending a 10 day furlough with his grandparents. Ross is in the Infantry and is at Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri. The boys both arrived in LeMars, Monday.

WAR SERVICE NEWS.
Lieut. J. G. Robert King, who is in the naval air corps, left Monday morning for Corpus Christi, Tex., after spending a 10-day leave in the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. V. A. King. Pvt. Ross King, who had furlough at the same time, left Wednesday morning for Fort Leonard Wood, Mo.

Ross H. King, A/C, Area 6, Gp. 7N, B2, AAFPS, B-N, San Antonio, Tex., has been in the army air corps a year getting part of his training at Oklahoma City Univ. He now has been classified as a navigator.

Second Lieut. Ross H. King, son of Mr. and Mrs. V. A. King, of America township, arrived home Monday from San Marcos, Texas, to spend a leave here. Lieut. King received his commission Sunday.

A U.S. Strategic Air Force Station in England—Second Lt. Ross H. King, the husband of Mrs. Ross H. King, of 127 Fourth avenue NW recently arrived in this war theater of operations and received a brief orientation course at this station designed to help him adjust himself to life in a combat zone. 2nd Lt. King will soon transfer to his permanent station, from which America’s fighting planes cover our advance into Germany.
