BROTHERS IN SERVICE
Private J. Myron Kersting and J. K. Kersting, sons of Mr. and Mrs. John Kersting, route 3, both are in the armed services. Private Kersting is stationed with the Army at Camp Robinson, Arkansas, and J. K. Kersting is in the Navy, stationed at Norfolk, Va.
J. K. Kersting left this noon after a visit with his wife at 1123 Oak avenue.

NEWS FROM OUR BOYS
Aviation Cadet Myron Kersting, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Kersting, 1123 Oak Street, who has been taking primary training at Corsicana, Texas, has been transferred to Perril field, Sherman, Texas, for basic training. Cadet Kersting’s wife, who had been with him at Corsicana, has returned to Sioux City and will reside at 913 Virginia Street. She expects to join him at Sherman, Texas later.

Win Commissions – At graduation ceremonies held recently by advanced army pilot schools, four Sioux City men received their pilot wings and second lieutenant commissions. The men and their respective training schools are Max A. Braunger, 406 26th Street, Pampa field, Pampa, Texas; Charles C. Joy, 1305 Villa Avenue, Moore field, Texas; Jerome M. Kersting, 913 Virginia Street, Aloe, Texas and John L. Stine, 1518 Villa Avenue, Aloe, Texas.
