EDWARD E. KAHL--Son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Kahl, left for the Army in September, 1941, and received his first training at Camp Callan, California, and was sent from there to the Aleutian islands, where he has been fighting the Japs, off and on, whenever they showed up.

Edward Ernest Kahl was born Aug. 9, 1919 to Harry and Margaret Grage Kahl. He died Nov. 17, 1951 and is buried in Remsen Cemetery, Remsen, IA.
Pvt. Kahl served in World War II with the U.S. Army 1687th Engineers in the Alaskan area.
