OUR NEIGHBORS IN THE SERVICES
Pfc. Everett D. Higgins has reported back for duty at Jefferson Barracks, St. Louis, Mo., after spending a 30-day furlough with his wife, Irene. Pfc. Higgins is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Higgins of Oakland, Ia. He entered the service in April, 1941, going to Camp Claiborne, La., as a member of the Iowa national guard. He recently returned after 34 months overseas service with the 34th division.
