Pfc. Patrick H. Heissler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Heissler, 311 1/2 Cook street, is undergoing treatment at Mayo General Hospital, Galesburg, Ill., after returning from the European theater of operations. He formerly was attached to an armored force and has the Purple Heart, two battle stars and a presidential citation. Pfc. Heissler entered the service February 2, 1943, went over seaseas September 2 of the same year and was returned to the States February 2, 1945.
