George John Guillaume, son of Mrs. Mary Ammerman, 2213 Pierce street, has been graduated at the Great Lakes naval training station from his “boot” training as honor man of his company. He is a graduate of Central high school and has returned home for a nine-day leave. Seaman Guillaume left Iowa State College, where he was a student, on January 21 to enlist in the Navy.
