Promoted to Corporal
Private William M. Giesen has been promoted to corporal, army authorities notified his wife, who lives at 1209 S. Paxton street. Private Giesen is with the 89th infantry at Camp Carson, Colorado Springs, Colo.

SOLDIER PROMOTED.
William Giesen, husband of Mrs. W. M. Giesen, 1209 S. Paxton street, has been promoted to the rank of technician, grade four, according to an announcement received here. Mr. Giesen is assigned to the finance section, signed to the finance section of an infantry division at Camp Carson, Colorado.
