Ronald E. Gernhart, fireman first class, 100 Cecelia street, has been serving aboard the veteran oiler, Marias, which has traveled more than 100,000 miles to deliver 100,000,000 gallons of fuel oil and high octane gasoline to ships in the combat zone.
