Sergeant Lyle G. Galusha, former Sioux Cityan now in Uncle Sam’s armed forces, was one of 150 men at a replacement center in Great Britain granted full naturalization status as a citizen of the United States in special ceremonies.
Sergeant Galusha came to this country with his parents from Canada. After joining the armed forces, he discovered that he was not an American citizen.
His home before his induction in May, 1942, was at Bonners Ferry, Idaho. He is a graduate of Sioux City Central high school and is a son of Mrs. Viola Galusha.
