IN UNIFORM.
Alfa Arthur Fisher, jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfa A. Fisher, 822 1/2 Main street, was awarded his wings and a commission as aerial navigator during graduation exercises at Selman field, Monroe, La., January 27. The graduating class was composed of men from 46 states and the District of Columbia. The new navigator is now a second lieutenant and expects soon to be assigned to a combat unit somewhere in the war area.
