Sioux Cityan on Missing List Now in Army Hospital
Pvt. James Fenlon, who was reported missing in action in France October 11, is an American army field hospital in France according to a letter received from him by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. T.E. Fenlon, 511 22d Street.
Pvt. Fenlon was a member of the 26th infantry division, which was storming the bastions around Metz at the time that he was reported missing. He was taken prisoner by the Germans and was in a hospital in Strasbourg when allied troops broke through German lines and took the city. He was then moved to the hospital in France from which he wrote, and he said he expected to be moved to another hospital further from the front lines within a short time.
He reported that he was feeling well and that the wounds he had received were healing rapidly.
