Donald Egertson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Egertson of Petersburg, was inducted into the Army Saturday. He volunteered for service.

Donald Ellsworth Egertson was born Dec. 10, 1923 to Edward Julius and Bella Marie Johnson Egertson. He died Aug. 17, 2005 and is buried in Union State Line Cemetery, Dickinson County, IA.
