NEWS From Uncle Sam's Nephews and Nieces
Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Davis of Greene, have received from their son, Captain Shadrach Davis, somewhere in north Africa, a group of pictures of himself. While they do not know where Shadrach is, surroundings in the pictures indicate that he is located where there are picturesque sunken gardens and a building with mosaic flooring. In two of the pictures, Captain Davis is seated behind the steering wheel of a jeep. He is with the air transport service command, and he is in charge of checking supplies for planes.
