Kingsley, Ia.—Chief Quartermaster Duane L. Davis recently came by plane from Panama, where he was stationed four years and has reported at New Orleans for further duty. Davis, who has been in the Navy 10 years, spent an overnight visit with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Davis, Kingsley, Ia., en route to his port. He has two brothers in the service: Sergeant Stanley Davis at Tunisia and Private Russell Davis, at Fort Leonard Wood.

Duane Leslie Davis was born Aug. 29, 1914 to Leslie Arthur and Edith J. Thompson Davis. He died Apr. 19, 2003 and is buried in Evergreen-Washell Memorial Park, Seattle, WA.
