LT. DANAHER PRISONER of WAR, PARENTS NOTIFIED
Former Manager of Milling Company Here First Reported Missing
Second Lieutenant Robert W. Danaher is a prisoner of war in Germany, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James E. Danaher, Caledonia, Minn., were notified by a telegram from the war department Tuesday.
Lt. Danaher had previously been reported missing in action when his bomber failed to return from a bombing mission over Germany on Aug. 6.
Prior to his entry into the service in August of 1941, Lt. Danaher was manager of the International Milling company in Mason City.
