Smithland, Ia.—Dale Ray Cook, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Cook of Smithland, is stationed at Camp Scott, Farragut, Idaho.

Smithland—Dale R. Cook, A.M.M., third class, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Cook, has completed training as an aerial gunner and air crew man and is spending a leave with his parents. He will report to the naval air station at Hutchinson, Kan., for six weeks’ training on B-24 Liberator bombers. From there his squadron will go into a combat area.
