Pvt. Darrell Cavaneau of Las Vegas, Nev., spent a few days here last week with his mother, Mrs. Hazel Cavaneau. His wife and son, Jerry, who had been visiting here last week, and his mother returned to Omaha, Neb., with him the first of the week.

Darrell Cavaneau was born May 8, 1912 to Mitchell and Hazel Baker Cavaneau. He died Feb. 2, 1998 and is buried in Oakdale Cemetery, Monett, MO.
Darrell served with the U.S. Army in World War II.
