Storm Lake, Ia.—Pfc. Loren Cain, son of Roe Cain of Rembrandt, has been reported missing in action in Germany on December 17, according to official word received from Washington by Mr. Cain. Pfc. Cain graduated from Rembrandt high school and was inducted last April, going overseas in October.

Loren Cain was born Dec. 13, 1923 to Roe H. and Mina Beatrice Michaelson Cain. He died Dec. 17, 1944 and is buried in Little Sioux Valley Cemetery, Rembrandt, IA.
Pvt. Cain served in World War II with the U.S. Army and was MIA/KIA in Germany.
