BETTY DEVINEY BECOMES BRIDE
Weds Paratrooper Clyde Buehler
Mrs. Reuben Deviney, 215 Fifth avenue SW, made announcement this week of the marriage of her daughter, Miss Betty Deviney, to Pvt. Clyde Buehler, paratrooper in the Army. The wedding took place at Southern Pine, North Carolina, Saturday evening, September 9, at 7:30 in the Southern Pine Church, with Rev. A. Davis officiating.
The bride wore a two-piece yellow jersey street-length dress with black accessories and carried an arm bouquet of yellow and white roses. The bride is a graduate of LeMars high school and is employed at the LeMars Clinic.
The bridegroom is a son of Mrs. Laura Buehler of Seattle, Wash., former LeMars resident. He is a graduate of LeMars high school and attended college at Mitchell, S.D., and has been a paratrooper since January, 1943.
Mrs. Buehler will return from South Carolina to make her home in LeMars for the present.

SOLDIER NEWS.
Pvt. Clyde W. Buehre from Camp Hood, Texas, came home last week on a 3-day furlough with his parents, relatives and friends. He left Saturday of last week for Fort Meade, Md. Clyde is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Buehre, of Akron.

Clyde William Buehre was born Jan. 9, 1923 to Herbert W. and Augusta Popkin Buehre. He died Oct. 19, 1992 and is buried in Riverside Cemetery, Akron, IA.
