COMMISSIONED
D. C. Bryant, 3015 Nebraska street, has been commissioned a lieutenant (j. g.) in the naval reserve and has departed to report for active duty at the naval training school at the University of Arizona, at Tucson.
Lieut. Bryant had been an instructor at Central high school where he taught drafting for the last four years. He also taught driver training and safety education at both Central high school and at Morningside college. He received his master of science degree from Iowa State college and has done graduate work at the University of Denver and Colorado State college.
Mrs. Bryant and their 9-month old son, Donald jr., will remain in Sioux City.
