COMMISSIONED.
Ensign Paul E. Brennan, commissioned Thursday at graduation exercised at Midshipmen’s school, Columbia University, New York, will arrive tonight for a leave before reporting November 7, in Miami, Fla., his new station. He is a son of Mrs. Frank G. Brennan, 1622 Summit street. A former Journal reporter, Ensign Brennan enlisted in the coast guard in October 1942; was recommended for V-12 training a year later; studied eight months at University of Notre Dame, and since July at Midshipmen’s school, New York. He attended Trinity College before his enlistment.

Paul Edward Brennan was born Sept. 17, 1921 to Frank and Ruth Fachman Brennan. He died Dec. 10, 2009 and is buried in Forest Home Cemetery, Marinette, WI.
