Ensign Daniel Branstiter has arrived here from Chicago to visit his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Branstiter. He has finished his training an will report to Norfolk, Va.

Walnut Youth Killed in Crash
Mr. and Mrs. Dan Branstiter received a message from the government early Tuesday morning, that their son, Ensign Dan Branstiter had been killed in a plane crash in Pennsylvania, Monday. The body will be sent home with military escort.
Mr. and Mrs. Branstiter live five miles south of Walnut.

Plan Funeral for Walnut Ensign
Funeral services for Ensign Daniel Branstiter, 22, will be held Saturdaty at 1:30 p.m. at the residence south of Walnut and 3 p.m. at the Methodist church in Shelby, the Rev. George Buchanan officiating.
Ensign Branstiter was a graduate of the Shelby high school and received his wings in February. He was killed Monday in the collision of two training planes near Millerstown, Pa. Surviving are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dan Branstiter, and four sisters, Mrs. Ralph Powell and Mrs. Dale Meyers of Shelby and Phyllis and Bonnie at home.
