REDEPLOYED TO PACIFIC—Coast Guardsmen Jack A. Brandon, son of Mrs. Anna I. Brandon, of Sioux City, is shown at his post, operating a blinker signal light aboard a coast guard manned L. C. I. which is now engaged in landing operations in the south Pacific. His vessel is one of many that were recently redeployed after having participated in the action at north Africa, Sicily, Salerno, and Normandy. Jack’s wife, LaVonne, and young daughter, Julie Ann, lived at 2117 Rebecca Street.
