Mrs. B.A. Bogenrief of Melbourne reports that her son, Corporal James Bogenrief, who is in a hospital at Ft. Bliss, Texas, with rheumatic fever, is progressing favorably.

James A. Bogenrief, Cpl., 138th Army Band, AAATC, Ft. Bliss, T4x., besides his regular band duties plays in a dance band and a special band that plays for shows and on Tuesday nights for a radio program called, “Silver for Soldiers.” The regular band meets all in coming and out going troop trains. His wife is with him.

Cpl. and Mrs. James A. Bogenrief left for El Paso, Texas, on Friday after spending a furlough in the B. A. Bogenrief home and with Mr. and Mrs. Gus Becker of Scotland, S.D. James is stationed at Ft. Bliss, Texas.
