MEN and WOMEN IN SERVICE
Hal E. Barger, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Hal Barger, 929 S. Martha Street, recently was graduated from the Naval Air Technical Training Center at Norman, Okla., and is awaiting active duty orders.

Four Sioux Cityans were among the Iowans who recently received their discharges at the naval personnel center in Minneapolis. They were Robert D. Gilligan, 2708 Virginia street; Kenneth W. Heines, 1600 Rebecca street; E. Hoffman, jr. 216 Paxton street, and Hal E. Barger, jr., 929 S. Martha street.
