RUSSELL BANWART IS WOUNDED IN GILBERTS AREA
Word received by Mr. and Mrs. George Banwart announces that their son, Russell, a marine serving in the Gilbert Islands area, was wounded in action just prior to Thanksgiving. While the notice was not definite as to the wounds, it seems to be in his legs. However, his condition is evidently not considered too serious and he is in a hospital and now using a wheel chair. Russell is a Private First Class in the Marine Corps.
