Pfc. Lavere Bantz, husband of Harriet Bantz, 1935 Lafayette street, is spending a 30-day furlough with his wife and mother, Mrs. H. H. Cleveland, 911 Mulberry street, after returning from Europe. In the Army for two years, he was stationed overseas with the 361st infantry for 18 months. At the end of his furlough, he expects to be deployed to the Pacific.
