IN UNIFORM
T. Sgt. William V. Baker, whose wife lives at 1417 Douglas street, has been awarded an oak leaf cluster to his air medal. The award was for “meritorious achievement” during bombing attacks on nazi war industries and military targets in cooperation with allied ground forces. He entered service in September, 1940.
